A Storm of Light - News about New Album

Come dicevamo verso metà Gennaio gli A Storm of Light erano in procinto di registrare il nuovo disco e ora siamo al lavoro finito.

Abbiamo titolo, artwork, tracklist e anche un estratto da poter ascoltare prima dell'uscita ufficiale prevista per il 17 Maggio 2011 negli U.S.A. e il 23 in Inghilterra e nel resto d'Europa.

Molte le partecipazioni all'interno del disco da Jarboe a Kim Thayil e molti altri; il titolo di questo nuovo lavoro sarà "As The Valley of Death Become Us, Our Silver Memories Fade" e già qui c'è da intuire come andranno le cose.

Anche una traccia in streaming, che vi segnalo più sotto, accompagna questa news, insomma non resta che aspettare!

A Storm of Light ... New Album

Gli A Storm of Light rilasciano un breve comunicato per informare tutti del fatto che il 25 Gennaio 2011 cominceranno le registrazioni del loro nuovo album.

Il disco prevederà 10 tracce, molto varie fra loro, pare anche che vi sarà la partecipazione di qualche ospite speciale.

Si prevede l'uscita del disco per Maggio 2011. In Europa il disco verrà distribuito da Burning World Record sia in versione Cd che Lp.

Per fine Gennaio è prevista un nuovo aggiornamento riguardante il disco e pare che verrà reso noto l'artwork del disco.

Hi All,

We have a lot of news for our next record, tentatively titled: As the Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade.

First, recording begins on January 25th with Joel Hamilton at Studio G in Brooklyn, NY. The record consists of ten
songs, with a lot of variety on the album. Words that come to mind are, shorter, faster, heavier, catchier. There are
also some very cool guests in the works. Keep checking back for more details.

Next, we are switching things up a bit with this release. Profound Lore will be putting out the North American and UK versions
of the CD, while Burning World Records (run by the infamous Roadburn Festival curators Jurgen and Walter) will be putting
out the European CD, and the worldwide Double LP.

We're looking at a May 2011 release, and will let you know specifics soon.

Finally, some of the album's artwork will be revealed at the end of January...it's going to be pretty intense this time around, pushing some boundaries.
